Years ago, the kingdom was conquered by a devilish dragon. 

Thankfully, a group of heroes defeated the beast and ushered in a new era of peace… but that's not the end of the story. That’s just the prologue.

King’s Title begins with the appearance of a new threat to a kingdom barely recovered from its previous crisis. A threat which the king, a hero who gave up adventuring to focus on leading his people, will now have to personally nip in the bud. Strong though he may be, he hasn’t quested in years. Can his reformed adventuring party steer him in the right direction and help him shake off the rust?

Gameplay and Narrative Design
This game will probably feel a bit like like firing up an old save file to play some epilogue DLC, but the epilogue is actually the beginning of the game and you’re going to have to piece together what happened in the past through dialogue and descriptions. There will be some turn based combat, item management, and NPC side quests, but they’ll function more as narrative devices than anything. You start with all the best gear and strongest abilities, so battles are less about training to get stronger and more about getting closer to your goal.

It’s a love letter to the genre with a dash of parody. I'd consider it a comedy, as there will be lots of jokes I’m hoping fans of JRPGs and Medieval Fantasy in general will get a kick out of.
